By the way, I live on the East Coast now, and I had to stay up way, way late to watch the game. But oh man was it worth it! I counted myself as a Julian Wright fan from the first time I saw him, but he just gets better and better! Once he eliminates stupid mistakes like that late foul, he'll be unstoppable.

I found your link via deadspin.com.I really loved the pictures more than anything which is odd because I'm a words guy.Being that I am a Notre Dame fan I just learned this afternoon that Kansas has a football team and besides the part about the coach being fat I couldn't follow most of it but I'm sure it made sense and was a good read.

Do you really believe Self has what it takes as a coach to get it done in a big time tourney game?He obviously is a great recruiter but do you think he has what it takes to stop the pattern of playing to the level of really weak competition as we have seen?To me that's all coaching and teams like that can get beat any night.

I think Saturday night's game showed a lot of what Self is about at KU.

As far as Selfâs meeting with the players, which led to the players deciding to gather, Robinson said: âHe laid it on the line and said we had to come out with more intensity and focus if we wanted to come out with a win.â

âThey (players) havenât been real happy with me which would be an understatement,â he said, âand Iâve not been happy with them the last couple weeks. The Ball State game was very disappointing to me because we didnât play like we can â with energy and passion. We challenged them and knew theyâd come out with energy and effort against Florida. Tonight there were no thoughts on anything other than Kansas.â

âSo much is maturity. Remember, last year we were up and down, too, until we got to a certain point (after struggling at the Maui Invitational and other early games).â
