Vit E's basketball knowledge is limited to 1990 on.Havlicek is one of the great NBA players of all time.Maybe the celtics 16 championships compared to the pistons 3 are the reason the celts have more jerseys retired.

Where did I bag on Havlicek? I just said he's not a household name (ie Dr J, Bill Walton, Magic Johnson)
The Celtic were a dynasty, when did I claimed they weren't?
I know I hated seeing every NBA final being Lakers vs Celtics.
As for 1990 on.....That's the last year the Bad Boy era Pistons won the championship.

That is strange.Almost as strange a Red Auerbachs brothers name, Zang.He was the one who designed the celtics logo.

There's an Auerbach road in Roseville Minnesota. It's a couple streets over from a buddy's place. We were out shooting hoops in the drive way when a neighbor stopped by...Hey I'm Kevin, I live in the Red house on Auerbach road!
