Seriously, I'm not dogmatic at all (duh), but those that are believe it to such an extent that I do believe it absolves of all guilt.

Here's what I have heard. The kid had a severe case of autism and was very much prone to seizures. So much so that they had to hire a 24 hour nanny to care for him. But, because their religion doesn't believe in mental illness, they concocted some other kind of name for what he had and he was not properly medicated.
Anyway, they are out all day in the Bahamas doing family shit and come home and the tard makes hand signals (or whatever they do) to let the family know that he is going to sleep. Its early at night. They don't check on the kid for like 15 hours. Sometime right after he went to bed he got in the shower and fell down and busted his head during a seizure. Didn't die right away. Layed there in the shower dying and no one checked on him.
They didn't check on him until the next day when his "nanny" found him in there.
The family says that it isn't unusual for that kid to sleep 16 hours at a time. 16 hours? Are you fucking kidding me?

Well, autism makes kids do abnormal things like sleeping for long periods of time. They claim there was a monitor in his room and a door chime in the bathroom, so he actually wasn't lying there for long.
But, I agree, since scientologists don't believe in mental illness, they maybe didn't care for him the way they should, and certain things they did or did not do may have contributed to his death. In some way. It's not an unreasonable thought.
