Three hall of fame QB's he has better #'s then and he has 3 or 4 years to pad his stats.None of the guys you listed above will have #'s close to warner by the time he's done and none of them have been to 3 superbowls with 2 teams.

You are going to argue that QBs from a different era in football set the standards for passing?

Explains exactly why it should be called the Hall of Very Good....

Has any QB ever won the SuperBowl with 2 different teams?

If you are going to throw stats up of other QB's who you don't consider worthy then I think its fair to point out that compared to other QB's in the hall he's got respectable #'s.

This guy was NFL MVP twice. Is that a very good or great player who wins that?Add in he's the first to take two teams to the superbowl and he's got 3-4 years to add to his records he's a no brainer.

I threw out stats of QBs that played in the superbowl the last 10 years. I think its important to note that he only had 3 seasons in which he played 16 games. I like the fact that baseball is the only sport with a credible hall of fame. They don't care if you have 2 MVPs.. what did you do and how long did you do it.

If Warner were black I could understand Anhilhator's reluctance.

He's had only 3 seasons where he played all 16 games and he has #'s that are worth considering for the Hall of Fame. What does that tell you?How long you played is something you've made up as criteria for entry and isnt an actual requirement to get in.

there have been a few that started for one and were a back up for another team later. i can't think of any tha started for 2.

Warner played pretty good yesterday and added to the reasons he'll be a HOFer.

My question is if you are basing most of the qualifications on getting in on #'s should Rothlesburger if he keeps averaging the same below average passing #'s will he make the HOF?

I think last night basically locked it up for him unless he retires or gets hurt next year.

He should have been the superbowl MVP last night. That last Td pass was sick.Montana like.

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - Anhil8tor - 02-02-2009

Rotherlessburger can retire this year and get into the Hall of Really Good. The whole thing they talked about with Warner is "If he wins two superbowls".... and he now has two.

I think baseball is the only hall that gets it right most of the time....

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - BIRD33 - 02-02-2009

Warners getting in.Theres no doubt about it.

The hall of fame is about taking the best players from each decade. Its not about #'s.Rothlesburger will never have the passing #'s because thats not the style of offense the Steelers play.Thats not his fault.

Warner's had a really strange career...high highs and low lows.

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - quint - 02-02-2009

his wife has gotten better looking over the years

He got screwed in St Louis.Who is really a better QB, Warner or Bulger?

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - WoolyGoat - 02-02-2009

Mike Martz is clearly an idiot

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - BIRD33 - 02-02-2009

Here's a something I found shocking.

Reggie Miller is not considered an Hofer.

Career average of 18 pts, 2 assists and 3 rebounds.

He's a iconic player so its shocking that he's probably not getting

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - WoolyGoat - 02-02-2009

he did one thing really, really well

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - BIRD33 - 02-02-2009

The more I think about it he had 25,000 pts so he should get in eventually.

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - Anhil8tor - 02-02-2009

had he played for the knicks he'd be a first ballot HOFer

Kurt Warner... Hall of Famer? - BIRD33 - 02-02-2009

Two things struck me while watching this replay of fitzgeralds 4 qtr TD.One he's fast as shit, he literally pulls away from the DB's at the end. Two, that guys got a nice sized pecker for a white guy.
