It seems that the site is running much faster and smoother now that we are on a pay server. ANyone else notice that?

I dont see the humor in anything you have ever posted. It was a joke that if it had worked could have been ignored.

No one is here to amuse you. Now run along and go listen to your mom's Carly Simon records some more son.

clearly here there is some feedback that should be done to Vbulletin. I mean there is some basic checks that should be done.
And yes that could cause a major crash because here TomF posted text (not a binary) so seems that there is a problem with the Vbulletin parser.
TomF found what someone could call "a buffer overflow attack".

I'm gonna guess that you could post your name 1,000,000 times on this new, faster, pay server and nothing would happen.

well you aren't supposed to do that on sites that you don't own and on services you don't maintain.

Anyway posting 1 million characters at once is always a bad idea. I remember having fun in coding class trashing windows making him fill his memory with tons of 0 (because windows is dumb and doesn't say anything when you say that you want some terabytes of memory. He dies later realizing that you are in the intent of filling that).

Anyway no Tom that wasn't right. I feel sorry for Leeman this place is really nice a good place to be.

maybe the brother of Carly Fiorina Wink

In fact, you should be paid a bug finder fee from v.bulletin. That would be the right thing for them to do.
