Most dems speak in sentences that make sense. One senate seat. What a victory!

Actually it was a crucial seat at that breaking the filibuster proof super majority. The independents have spoken and this time it was against the left wing liberal policy that has run rampant in the congress. November cannot get here soon enough. Before you start off with Republican rant on "how they screwed it up in the past 8 years blah blah blahhhhhh stuff" I could not agree with you more. The Republican congress of the past was just as liberal as the Dems in my opinion. I think that's all about to change though through the primaries this year. I think a lot of incumbent Republican and Democrats alike are going to go down. Just a thought.

You may be right about incumbents.People are still angry the country is in ruin from the previous regime and looking for someone to blame.

You couldnt be more wrong about the sentence I bolded.Do you really think that Massachusetts, the birthplace and home of left wing liberal policy elected Brown because they reject their core beliefs? They put up some chick who had zero appeal to common folk in that state and she lost.It has nothing to do with the rest of the country.Politics is always local as the saying goes.

Health care reform will pass in some form in the next year.I'm not going to debate it.Its just going to happen. One seat does not matter.Deals will be cut by the majority to make it so.You and your family will benefit.

BIRD, you make a ton of money...how much extra tax do you elect to pay when you file your tax return. Isn't there a line item that allows you to put in a little extra? What do you donate?

Do you think a repub getting elected is a sign that most of america doesn't want the one plan obamamamamamaa has been pushing?

I donate to charities. Not sure why thats any of your business.I have no problem with the taxes I pay.I travel in the inner city for work and see where some people where born into and know they need help.I don't look down on people like you.

Do you have any shame?Read a newspaper before you spout off. They put up a chick who seriously didnt know you shouldnt say you are a yankees fan in the area she was running. She also said catholics shouldnt work in health care for some reason. She was a terrible candidate.Thats it.So to answer your question, no you fucking stupid mouth breathing hick.

Massachusetts already has what you would call socialized medicine you shitheads and they like it.Its why Romney isnt out there banging the drum against health care reform. He'd look like a hypocrite.

Sorry for the delyed response here did'nt see the post until now.

You're probably right on the healthcare and I do not deny it is needed for this country. Heck I pay 13k a year for my family outta my pocket and my company pays the other half. 6k family deductible and 2k individual. This is going to be considered one of those "cadillac plans" under the current senate bill that has gone back to the house for negotiation and is now subject to a 40% tax. I have 6 kids. If they hit me with that kind of tax it is going to hit hard. So I don't see how I will be better off. The unions on the other hand went behind closed doors with the current administration a couple of weeks ago and negotiated themselves out of that deal. Leaving all us other hard working folk in the crapper. That is how things are done in Washington.

60% of the voters in the Ma. election were independents. This isn't just heresay. It is a fact. The majority of those went for Brown and decided the election. Tea partiers from all over the nation assisted the Brown campaign. Yes I am involved in the Tea Parties and call me what you want for that. I can tell you there are Republicans, Independents and YES DEMS alike in the events I go to. This is because they are sick of the Washington Rule. I can tell you IT WAS POLICY that drove them to help Scott Brown and not for lack of a good dem candidate like you say. So instead of listening to CNN & MSNBC all the time try going to one of the events before you take someone else's word about what they are all about. I assure you that you would find concerned Americans just like you and me. So I would have to just agree to disagree with you concerning the "she was just a bad candidate" theory.
