Phils got the deal of the century for Lee.Didnt have to give up shit for possibly one of the top 3 pitcher in the game right now.Lee, Happ, Hamels and Pedro\Moyer are not bad options going into any series.
Lee was unhittable last night.

I will acknowledge that you were right about Lee being the better deal.
I'm not that worried about the closer spot still.Myers, once his eye heals up from the bar fight will be back and I think he actually prefers the closer role so at worst we have him and Madsen if Lidge is still a head case.
It was apparent they needed a right handed bat.Thats not seeing the future.Francisco has had his moments but he makes some bone headed plays out there.Anyone looks good compared to Bruntlet.
So is Halliday not a dominant pitcher anymore?

The dodgers just picked up Vincente Padilla so they have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for coming to town and getting swept, D backs.I'm pretty sure my softball team fields better then them.They can't make a simple force out at second happen.Werth is on fire.So is Howard.He put a ball in the opposing teams bullpen which is a hell of a shot.
Geez I hope the Mets relief pitching isnt too tough for the Phil's this weekend.Real baseball geniuses have told me that they've fixed that problem and I'm really worried about it!

Does he have amnesia?He burnt every bridge on the way out off town and not to mention the last game he pitched for the phillies he blew the game and caused them to miss the playoffs.Plus the Mets are going to trade him to their biggest division rival?You should slap the shit out of that guy.
