OK, so I have a courtcase scheduled (Attorney General of Texas VS. Greg X) so my attorney goes for me. (court is in TX I am in MN.)
Apparently my wife shows up with one of my kids (a minor) so one attorney general asks her to wait in the hall.
Meanwhile the other AG (who was handling the case) had no clue she was there. When they called the case it looked like she was a no show, and since there is a pending divorce case, (filed by me) the judge ordered the two to be conjoined.
I'm still laughing!

Apparently, I have to be more "pacific".
For those of you that didn't know, I was married and lived with a woman for 16 years. In which time we concieved 3 children. Marriage was shit, she was cheating, and abusive. Finally I bailed.
4 years later, I get a letter from the Texas Attorney General (child support division) (oh shit!
I respond, and am going to participate in a negotiation conference, she is a no-show. (she called and said she slept late, and requested that it just went to litigation) (bitch)
So I find out that if I filed for divorce, the AG has to step back and let the court be the judge. Which I do, however, no-one told me to follow up and the AG's case came before my case (dammit) so, bottom line, 1 case = good for me!
