I talked to you via PM... As far as common sense goes, you are one of a couple here that have it.
I would however never speak to you about anything with sports.

I can't get a good take on the season yet. I don't have anything to offer. I have looked at the list. If Hawaii is playing at home, bet them. There is no dog on monday night. OU should come out strong after getting waxed by TCU. A&M should hammer SMU at home. I think Dallas will kill Washington on Monday night. If McNabb is hurt, I would avoid Phily (I can't believe that he won't play).
Other than that, I don't have shit.

A&M = $$$
Hawaii = $$$
OU scares me.. didn't they change QB's this week? Isn't Peterson hurt?
Mcnabb called Mcnair this morning to discuss chest injuries.
I like Dallas too..

Dude USC was a 38 point fav against Hawaii and beat them by 46. They will cover against Arkansas.

I will say that the emotion everyone else in NOLA has had will not carry to Tulane.
What is the spread on FLA/Tenn? I see Tenn by 5 or so.

I don't doubt that.. one of my "golden rules" of betting is never take or give more than 6 points.

Really? You will not be betting on any USC games this year then.

The only reason I mention Hawaii at home, is if you are betting "blind" and don't know the teams well enough yet, then betting Hawaii at home to cover is a good bet.
The logic is, these schools from inland go out there and they have never been to Hawaii. One or two nights of partying and the last thing on their mind is playing football. Not to mention the time changes. So, it is just a rule of thumb bet.

If I had to take 2 of those it would be Miss St. and Tenn.

Florida is home..
Tulane is in shreveport.
I hate to take Miss St because they were so bad last year.. Didn't they go 0fer in the SEC?

Not sure about last year, but Miss St and Wake Forest used to be no brainers for taking against the spread. They always covered.
