Red still does a ton of shit...He was behind the Joe Forte draft pick. Danny's done a pretty decent job, though he's certainly got a long way to go.

Wyc Grousbeck is the principle owner. Red is still the team president, and as far as I know he's still very active in his role with the club.

I love Red.Drafting Bird his junior year is the smartest draft move ever.I read that Bird doesnt like the Celts ownership group.

It took some stones, that's for sure...can't really have paid off any better either.

The new owners bought the club within the last 2 years, long after Bird had any association with the team. You're probably right though, and I haven't heard anything either way, but I'd imagine there's something going on somewhere.

Let me rephrase.

It wouldn't surprise me if Bird was upset with either the new or the old ownership groups. However, I am without any specific knowledge, and therefore cannot comment further.

I had to take my GF out to dinner for her birthday so I heard the first half on the radio and saw bits and pieces at the bar.I think the Celts were more ramped up to play that game than the sixers for whatever reason.Sixers need to play solid help out D which they didnt and at times they are a horrible rebounding team.Celts bench came up big, who is Perkins?The Paul Pierce\Ricky Davis Combo still makes me want to vomit.
