BIRD33 and/or athletic peeps - Dr. Lecter - 06-07-2006

I played tennis with a few guys over the winter, and made the mistake of asking one of them to come down for softball a few weeks ago. Holy shit, this guy SUCKED.
Did you ever take for granted the athleticism of regular dudes? I play hard, and I think I realized that the people I play poker and tennis with are risiculously athletically inferior.
Not that I'm all that, but I think more and more that "over 35" athletes that dive for balls and still hit homers are a great breed.

Some people are athletically talented and can play most sports relatively well. I am one. Others can play ball sports and not raquet, and vice versa. I am fortunate in that it does not matter the arena, I can play almost any sport at a b or a league level when I am in shape.

I have some really gifted raquet friends. Dudes throw like girls though.
