Lets talk about the draft.
Horrible move by the Celts.Ray fucking Allen?Total waste of time to appease Pierce who aint that good anyway.I think it was a peter Vescey article that made a great point about fake franchise players.Guys who get paid the max but arent capable of taking their team out of the first round, Tracey Mcgrady, KG, Pierce, Abdul Rahim, Marion(eventually), Redd etc...Guys like Iverson and Lebron should be getting the max because they can take 4 sacks of shit with them to the finals but teams get caught up giving max money to second rate players because they are afraid to lose ticket sales.Pierce is a perfect example of a franchise bowing to a guy who would be the second or third guy on a championship team.
Sixers-Draft sucked,we suck, Billy King is a joke.
Milaukee-Like the balls in taking the chinamen even though he didnt want to go there.Fuck him, who does he think he is.I hope the NBA says shut the fuck up and play for the bucks or go back to communist china and less than half of what you'd get paid here. This fortifys my Milaukee is a joke theory.

I thought it was a bad move for the celts too. If they could have traded pierce for ray allen.. i would have been happy. allen is alot more stand up guy.
I lilke big baby though. I think he can be a decent player and will be motivated because he thought he was a first rounder.
i hope the chinamen gets stuck in milwaukee. you should have to play where you are drafted.....

Peirce is better than Allen but not by much.
Big baby=Tractor Traylor
I like the Grant Hill to Phoenix move.If they do end up getting KG that team with it's Duke leadership will be a lock.
Smart Move by Portland all around to get rid of Richardson and bring in Mcroberts since they played on the same AAU team as kids.
I heard the Bulls are giving up Noah, Duhon and Noicini for Gasol.Thats a horrible deal for the Griz.

Everyone in Boston is hoping/praying that Ainge isn't done. I can't believe that he
honestly thought Ray Allen was the answer...there's got to be another big more he's working on.

Who wants Allen besides the Celts?Your wishful thinking is hilarious.Unless he trades one of their young stars for what I don't know they are done trading. He just delayed your rebuilding effort by two years.I bet you Pierce will not be on the team this time next year.

If you're not rooting for your team to do the right thing, then why bother paying attention at all?
The fact that Ainge made that deal without moving Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfair, or Theo Ratliff has to make you wonder what else he has planned. Granted, at this point I can't imagine what beneficial move he could possibly make
now, but who knows.
Maybe he just wanted Ray Allen and Allan Ray on the same team.

its gonna take years to correct this. They could have selected the 5th overall pick and started rebuilding... now they will win more than they did last year and get a terrible pick.
Troubling

If he would have traded one of his young guys for Ray Allen that would have been even more of a travesty. You are giving ainge more credit than I ever could.I know Theo's contract is valuable but who's the best player available that they can move in?Not KG.Probably the only two that would consider going are Marion or Amare Stoudamire and Marion is more of a role player and isnt going to carry you.I just don't see what the C's could offer to make them give up Amare.I know the suns are trying to trim payroll but they are a Tim Duncan knee injury away from a championship.
I really think what Ainge is trying to do is trade Ratliffs contract for a mid level star in the Gasol range and just try to get to the Eastern conference finals to save his job.Downside is you don't get a ring and you start rebuilding 3 or 4 years from now instead of right now.
