I think this is way overblown.

If Mangini knew this was going on, why wait this long to blow the whistle? If it gave the Pats that much of an edge, why would Mangini have "sacrificed" 3 games before he said anything?

It's against the rules so they should be punished, but I don't think the advantage is serious enough to start throwing asterisks around, nor do I think they're the only ones in the league doing it.

You don't think knowing the plays that are being called before the snap isnt much of an edge?Against a divisional opponent no less?Ok.Sure.

The pats got caught doing this already by green bay a few years ago.It has nothing to do with the Jets.I bet some GM's complained to the league during the offseason meetings and the NFL was waiting for them to do it during the first game.They should lose multiple draft picks.

Everyone steals signals. It was the method by which the Pats did it that's getting them in trouble. Other teams use binoculars or other game tape, but the majority of them are doing it.

Have you read an article on this at all?The Jets had nothing to do with this.The pats were known to be doing this and have already been caught doing it.Most teams are trying to steal signals but arent sending a guy over to the other sideline with a camera focused on the assistant coaches.

The opposing teams are the ones blowing the whistle. The Packers caught them doing it last year, but didn't confiscate the tape, they just booted the guy out of Lambeau. The Jets got evidence of it this time.

When they met in the playoffs last year, why wouldn't Mangini have told someone to be on the lookout? Why wouldn't he have had stadium officials patrolling the sideline? He used to coach with Belichick, he knew what was going on. He's a division opponent, why did it take so long to bag them?
