I don't think I'll actually cry. Hopefully the 2003 ALCS was the last time I'll ever shed a tear over sports.

After posing the question I've tried to remember if I have ever cried and I haven't.
The toughest loss I ever took as a fan was in the 92-93 playoffs. I remember many things about those playoffs... (Frank Reich, Brian Mitchell with that 100 yard performance against the Vikes, Saints shitting the bed again, etc etc)
Tied 10 to 10 at halftime I thought there was no way the 9ers would lose. After the game I remember anger mostly. Not sadness... just anger.

the aftermath of the Aaron Boone game was a mixture of anger (immediate), giving way to angry drunk driving, depression, then sadness.

I was out at a bar watching the game, which went extras so the beers kept flowing, and flowing, and flowing...
Next thing I know I'm tearing out of the parking lot angry as fuck...I got home 15 or so later, sat in the driveway and was like, "fuck that was really stupid, thank god I made it. fucking aaron boone."
