baseball keeper question - WoolyGoat - 02-22-2008

I'm in a keeper league that keeps a ton of guys - up to 8 per team (10 team h2h league.) My first 4 keepers are no-doubters (Santana, M. Cabrera, Teixeira, Crawford) but I can't decide on the rest.

I've got to choose 4 of the following guys to fill out the rest of my team. Whoever I don't keep, I can trade for draft picks or I guess package for a better player.

Cole Hamels
Scott Kazmir
Roy Halladay (the league counts CGs)
Fausto Carmona
Felix Hernandez
Ian Kennedy

Cole Hamels is a absolute stud.

yeah, the only reason Hamels isn't on my "definite" list is because of the minor injury history. If I could trade him and Felix for someone like Peavy or Beckett and a draft pick, I'd have to think about it.

you think his injuries could come back?

I think he wins 20 games this year. He's on track for a Cy Young eventually.

unfortunately for him (this year anyway) Santana is gonna win close to 25.

I agree with you, though.
