I think we've all been exposed to Obama enough to gather he's qualified mentally.Top of the ticket is about change since the president is the one who actually sets policy.The VP spot is an insurance policy where being qualified is the most important aspect.We can't tell if Palin is qualified like Obama is qualified in just 45 day to the election.I think you know this and it's probably increasingly tough to form arguments to defend her.I don't envy you.

Obama needed Biden for the white vote which he's helped with a little.I'm not ashamed of the pick like you should be with Palin because Biden no matter how you try to spin it is a serious player on the international stage.Most people are comfortable with the Biden pick and Obama seems rational in his selection compared to the Palin pick.

Let's talk about the facts surrounding these picks. McCain will have all of the advisors that he needs at his disposal when it comes to the economy. Same with any president that takes office. He isn't going to sit in a room with Palin and bounce every decision off of her (if he bounces any off of her).
