Seems like all the guys on the cusp of any HOF eventually make it in after years of bitching.Art Monk same deal.It's stupid that the guy wasnt a HOfamer 15 years ago but is now.

They are but thats partly because they know if they don't vote for the guy the first time they have chances to vote for him every year forward.I wish it was one and done.If you don't make it the first time you are out forever.It would mean a great deal more if they did it that way.
The only guy who didnt vote for Rickey Henderson didnt because he thought he was a prick and he knew he could vote for him again next year if need be.

Rickey received less than 95% of the possible votes.
No one has EVER been a unanimous selection to the Hall of Fame. That alone makes the whole voting process stupid.

Its at the point though were if you fix it that means someone like Rickey Henderson would be the first unanimous first ballot hall of famer over guys like Ruth and Dimaggio.That wouldnt look right.

28 voters didn't vote for rickey. i know he can be an asshole, but he is a no brainer.
blyleven (sp?) should be in also.
