Lots of therapists do mobile outcalls - and 95% of them are far more concerned with trusting you and coming into your space.

Find a therapist with a clinic/office, who also does mobile outcalls. See them at the clinic, if you like and are comfortable with them - you can start setting up regular housecalls.

thanks Pickle, I would have never guessed they would be more afraid then me. I guess living alone with a small boy has me a bit paranoid... and besides that... his father and my brother would probably wanna run intensive background info on the person before I could let them into my home. :S

Most have procedures they follow before they'll work in your home. Therapists are putting themselves at great risk going to someones house alone. Most will call someone as soon as they get there, tell them when they are expected to be done, call when they're taking their equipment down, and then again once they're in their vehicle.

Most mobile therapists are female too, so that's probably more comforting. Male therapists have a hard enough time getting clients without offering to come to their houses while they're home alone!
