Richie Sexton. Not as a player but as the promotion deal a local bar would put on. They had Richie Sexton night where beers would cost what Sextons batting average was. I remember going in on Sunday nights cheering him on to strikeout. The good ol days of the Mariners crap season last year.

Quite well. Griffey is well loved and wont be booed even with his patgetic .220 average. Anytime he hits a HR the crowd goes ape like we actually won the pennant or something. It will be fine as long as he retires at the end of the year. I dont think he would be receiving a warm welcome again next year if he doesnt improve.

He aint retiring.Simmons wrote something about its refreshing to see him on the downside of his career like a pre steroids guy would be.I agree.
