I was hiking last friday... - phantom - 04-29-2010

and just as I went into the trail I noticed a kitten off the trail by an uprooted tree. I was with my brother and we went over there and saw that there were actually 3 kittens and some piece of shit human had set them out with a little bowl of food and water all covered in pine needles. They were living under the uprooted tree in a hole in the ground that went farther than my arm would reach. One kitten wouldn't come out all the way.

I decided to get them after our walk. We went about 8 miles and came back but there was no sign of the kittens anywhere. I hoped that somebody had gotten them.

It rained and stormed Saturday. I wondered about the kittens and stopped by there Sunday morning. I went to the same place and there they were. They weren't as wild acting as before, probably due to being hungry. Of course I had to bring them home.

Today one of them started coughing and coughed up a long pine needle.
