#1 Goat
Super Bowl XX - Tony Eason, Patriots

Jan. 26, 1986 — In fairness to Eason (pictured, No. 11), he went up against perhaps the most lethal defensive buzzsaw in NFL history in this game — the famed '85 Bears. He was not up to the challenge. A member of the quarterback NFL draft class of '83 that included John Elway, Jim Kelly and Dan Marino, Eason was benched in the second quarter of a 46-10 loss after going 0-for-6 passing with one lost fumble. — Jim McCurdie

#1 Hero!
Super Bowl XXIX - Steve Young, 49ers

Jan. 19, 1995 — Much of Young's time in the Bay Area was spent in the very imposing shadow of teammate Joe Montana. But he stepped into the light in this game, passing for six touchdowns without an interception and accounting for 374 yards (325 passing, 49 rushing) in a 49-26 romp over the Chargers. It was a day worth waiting for. — Jim McCurdie

#1 goat has to be the bills kicker who missed the chip shot to win it.
