We do it both ways here. If you know the sex, showers before. If not, usually after. Did you have a shower for both your kids, PH?

Not really.

For my first one I had a big shower. Lots of family, and TONS of gifts. I almost didn't have to buy anything.

For my 2nd I just had a few friends over and we had pizza. Very informal, I wouldn't really even call it a shower.
