I think it would help if people could see what you are talking about. I went to the link but they have no way to see what it is.
Also what would your idea for use be?

Viewing/changing picks
Your first step is to begin viewing and changing your picks. Click the "Make Picks" link in the vBPool menu. You will be presented with a list of games in the current active week in the currently selected Pool. Elements on the screen will include:
A drop-down list of all weeks in this Pool.
A headline showing both Pool name and the Week name you are currently viewing.
A notice of when the week closes, or notice that it has already closed.
A list of games, with a colored icon next to your pick; or, if you are changing picks, an option to select your picks - current picks will be pre-selected.
If you are changing picks, a button entitled "Change Picks!" Click this button to update the database with your new picks.
Viewing picks
When viewing picks, you will see a colored icon next to your pick. These icons are either yellow, green or red. Their meaning is as follows:
Yellow: neutral pick. This pick does not count as a point. Usually, this color means the final score for this game has not been entered; however, tie games will also show yellow if the administrator has decided not to allow points for tie games.
Green: correct pick. The final score for this game has been entered and the team you chose is the winner; or, the game ended in a tie and the site administrator has decided to allow everyone a point for a tie game.
Red: incorrect pick. The final score for this game has been entered and the team you chose is not the winner of the game.
If the week has not yet closed, you will see a "Change Picks" button at the bottom of the screen. Click this button to change your picks.
Changing picks
When changing picks, you will see a "radio button" next to each team name. Your current pick for each game is already checked. To change a pick for a game, just click the radio button next to the other team. After you have changed those games you wish to change, click the "Change Picks!" button.

Understanding games
vBPool allows players to participate in predicting winners of sports games. Each set of games is called a "Pool". A Pool is usually composed of all games in a single sport in a single season. For example, the NFL, NBA or MLB seasons might each be represented by a Pool.
The games in a single Pool are divided into "Weeks", which enable you to see a small subset of all games in the Pool. The NFL regular season, for example, has 248 games, but only 15 games are played each week. Players choose who they think will win each game, and one point is scored for each correct choice (or pick).
Playing against the spread
Some Pools will be listed as "against the spread". When you see this, you know that picking a winner in those games requires taking into account the spread. When viewing the list of games, you will notice a spread number listed in the far right column. This is a number that will be added (or subtracted, if negative) from the visiting team's score. The winner is calculated after the visiting team's score has been adjusted.
In Pool's listed as against the spread, the winner of a game may not be the team with the most real points. Therefore, you must make your choice of winner by calculating whether the visiting team will have the most points after that team's score is adjusted by the spread. Pool's that are not against the spread ("straight up") will have the winner determined by number of real points scored in the game.
Examples:
Team A is visiting Team D. The spread is 4.5. Team A's score will have 4.5 points added at the conclusion of the game. The final score is A:10, D:15. The adjusted score is A:14.5, D:15. Team D is the straight up and spread winner. (Team D has "covered the spread".)
Team C is visiting Team B. The spread is -3. Team C's score will have 3 points subtracted at the conclusion of the game. The final score is C:20, B:18. The adjusted score is C:17, B:18. Team C is the straight up winner, but team B is the spread winner.
Team E is visiting Team F. The spread is 2. Team E's score will have 2 points added at the conclusion of the game. The final score is E:15, F:17. The adjusted score is E:17, F:17. Team F is the straight up winner, but the spread game ends in a tie.
Ties
Games that end in a tie count as a point to each pick.
Closing games
You must make picks for each game before that game begins play. Whenever you are in the system viewing picks, you will see the day and time that week of play closes. After that time, you will no longer be able to change your picks. (You can always view picks for any week.) If you have JavaScript enabled in your browser, this time will be your local time. If not, you will see a time in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) plus/minus an adjustment.

Look very cool but I think its only for football. With that being the case I'd almost say it isn't worth it for this year.. it'd be week 3 or 4 before we start.. then I am not sure you could get more than 5 ITers on to pick every week.
I love it though.. I'd play the hell out of it.
