A mass post to say little one is doing well....i miss the good painkillers from the hospital visit...but things are gettin better...percocet RX is running out....:S ..now it's time to grin and bear the surgery....

the Morphine.../percocet pump...i got to hit the button every so many minutes for a dosage after the surgery for the first 24hrs....it was delightful not to feel the pain....i think i told you..the anethesia wore off during surgery while they were still operating on me....it was major SUCKAGE!...so the drugs were a welcome treat....i'm still freaked out knowing i was cut open and well i'll spare the details and being able to feel it....i had nightmares for days...and still makes me shudder...:eek:

I had a bullet removed from my leg without and pain medication what so ever. yes it was at a hospital.

the Vet doesn't count...:=p
and PH don't be scared...i have a very HIGH tolerance for pain meds/i've woken up during surgery many times...and very hard to keep under (i guess that's a good way to put it...) you should be fine....my parents found out at the age of 2 1/2-3 the Sodium penathal (sp?) doesn't work on me..nice huh? they ended up gasing me to get my tonsils out...:mellow:

Those pics made me drool. But to clarify, that second pump is oxytocin, which is a horomone used before and after birth to stimulate normal female body functions as related to babies...or something like that.
Oxytocin is not the same as oxycodone, which is percocet.
The baby is absolutely beautiful though, congrats!
