We have our choice of tunes during free shoot. I came in early over Winter Break and took my iPod and hooked it up to the P.A. system.
In a matter of minutes, there was blind outrage coming from my teammates. Barry Manilow was not the best choice, but it was good enough. I was giggling like a little schoolgirl inside.
I didn't see that Alando had snuck away, and the fucker not only ripped my iPod from the system, he smashed it on the floor as a goof. So now I'm out my Manilow tunes, with a broken iPod to boot.
After several days of soul searching, I confided in coach what happened, and told him I thought it would be nice to have the university replace it for me. It was one of the nice 20g models.
Coach says he can get one of the badger alums to gift it to me, which I know is illegal, but I just don't have the cash to pony up for a new one.
What's my next step? I'm going to need tunes during the tourney, but I'm concerned I'll get busted.
