Flumps Stock Thread
#1

I am about to invest in a stock and I am debating going witha steady stock that pays great dividends (NLY, BBT, CZN, etc etc) or something more aggressive. Obviously the market is always in flux.

What is your opinion all mighty stock master.

Well, I was at a party a few weeks ago and some of the big wheels at CEC Entertainment (Chuck E. Cheese) were there. I was talking to one of the guys, funny SOB, anyway, he told me that if I had any available cash that I should buy CEC stock. He said it was down, but that they were having a stellar year. They were going to blow the socks off of any earnings estimates. He said the stock was in the low 20's and he could guarantee me it would hit 39 before the end of the year.

The market was tanking at the time, and I didn't get any. I heard the other day it took a jump up, but haven't checked it.

over 35, shoulda listened

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.

Well, its never too late. Even if its at 35 now and he says 39 coming soon, that's over 10%.

Besides, with most other companies in their industry doing poorly, it should drop back down again.
