FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Authorities say a Florida woman called 911 three times after McDonald's employees told her they were out of Chicken McNuggets.

A police report says 27-year-old Fort Pierce resident Latreasa L. Goodman told authorities she paid for a 10-piece last week but was later informed the restaurant had run out.

She says she was refused a refund and told all sales were final. A cashier told police she offered Goodman a larger portion of different food for the same price, but Goodman became irate.

"This is an emergency. If I would have known they didn't have McNuggets, I wouldn’t have given my money, and now she wants to give me a McDouble, but I don’t want one," Goodman told police, according to The Stuart News. "This is an emergency."

Police say Goodman was cited on a misuse of 911 charge. A current phone listing for Goodman couldn't be found.

A McDonald's spokesman says Goodman should have been given a refund, and she's being sent a gift card for a free meal.

I read this story and I saw a picture of the chick.Not attractive but not huge.I kind of identify with my sister here on this because the one thing I didnt understand was that she ordered chicken Mcnuggets and they ring her up and give her the change and then tell her we don't have Mcnuggets and we can't give you a refund because all sales are final but they will substitute a burger in its place.

What if I'm allergic to beef?What if I buy a car and sign the papers for it and the sales guy brings around a different car and says we were out of the one you bought but you can have this and we can't give you a refund because all sales are final?

How if you don't give me what I paid for can I not get a refund?

I'm not sure calling 911 over fraud is approrpriate, but I think she has a brain injury or something. That's my default explanation when someone does something that makes no sense.

i didn't know the 911 caller was black. maybe a call to cust service would have been a better choice. perhaps a letter to corp or the local news? was she the one burnt by the coffee also?
