Really! He was bragging how he made a homemade 'spud gun' out of pipe & full hair spray cans. He claimed he impressed his nieces and nephews by firing potatos at a neighbor's swing set across the street.... & hitting it, too.

I made a point to stay out of his town after that!!! :|

I was watching some show where these people made one that shoot bowling balls and they were trying to take down an old brick grain silo with it. It was so fucking stupid I had to quit watching it. Needless to say, I don't know of they ever knocked the silo down or not :|

I have a friend whose dad did this when he was a kid. Made a home made rocket launcher (for lack of a better word) and blew up a chimney to an old abaondoned factory. Of course, we were "never ever to do anything like that"

Cannons are a great stress release. Imagine you've had a horrible day at work and when you get home you just want to kill something. Well, with a cannon you can do the next best thing. Either get killed or blow stuff up.
