I still think the odds are backwards.
I thought 1/5 means bet 1 to win 5. Bet 1000, win 5000.

well the funny thing about legal gambling is that you can't get over. If you bet through an illegal bookie with a card you usally get say 7 to 1 odds on a 3 team pick'em. however, this is off of an internet betting site.. therefore the leagal odds are alot lower..espically in this instance.
Before the season started.. everyone thought the red sox were a lock to win 95.. that being said the bookies want to make sure they make their money... so they set the odds up in their favoer.
