5. The Florida Panthers play their third game of a four-game homestand this evening against the Philadelphia Flyers. The Cats have posted a 5-1-3 mark in games played in January and have gone 14-6-7 in games played since Nov. 24. The Cats complete the homestand with a contest against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night.
4. D Jay Bouwmeester ranks 1st in the NHL averaging 27:24 of ice time per game and has 18 points (10-8-18) with a +9 rating in his last 26 games played. He had a four-game goal scoring streak snapped on Jan. 19 vs. Buffalo and has recorded seven points (4-3-7) in his last eight games played.
3. C Michael Frolik ranks 9th among NHL rookie scoring leaders with 20 points (9-11-20). In addition, Frolik places fourth among rookie leaders in
shots on goal (79), 10th in rookie goal scoring (9) and 11th in power play points (6).
2. G Tomas Vokoun has posted a 4-1-2 mark in his last six games played with one shutout and .919 save percentage.
