How's about some God-fearing pro-circumcision messages? I am atheist, so I care not, but a lot of people who circumcize are actually Christian. Which makes zero sense to me, because would you not trust the omnipotent God who made your child?Why alter him?

You alter them because of the covenant made with god.I'm agnostic but thats what the story is.The verse you site seems to me to say just because you get circumcised does not excuse you from following all of gods other laws.Basically circumcision isnt enough to get you into heaven.

Your whole "why don't you trust god" argument only works for christian scientists trying to pray away cancer.Most christians don't see any conflict in medical advancements like circumcision.

I missed the playoffs by one game to the commish and it turns out somebody discovered him using his powers to remove Jamall Lewis from his starting lineup for Jamall Charles after the games started a few weeks back.He said it was an honest mistake putting in the wrong Jamall but he didnt tell anyone what he did until he was called on it.For some reason this hasnt come out until yesterday which was the championship game that had the commish vs some other dude.I have to do a bunch of research to see if my team got screwed or not which I really don't feel like doing.I'm thinking of quitting since the guy handling the money basically can't be trusted.

Being in the Chunnel at all would scare me, much less being stuck in there with zero light and no heat. I can't even imagine how I would have dealt with that with my 3 year old. She's high maintenance as it is, but throw in no food, light, heat or bathrooms? What a nightmare.

There is a fascinating argument out there in a book called the evolution of god where the author makes the claim that Paul made up most of the things jesus said like love thy neighbor in the later gospels.He has a theory that the book of Mark is the closest to thing we have to an accurate portrayal of jesus because it was written so close to his death compared to the other gospels being 100 years later.If you look at the book of mark jesus only says the word "love" once or twice compared to 40 to 50 times in each of the other books and is pretty harsh to non jews and is missing things like the beatitudes and the sermon on the mount so it kind of makes you wonder if the version of jesus we are taught is really legit.Paul changed jesus's message in order to enable the spread of the church to different ethnicitys to make it seem like jesus was this all accepting god.

I tried to explain this to a friend who turned into a born again wacko and at first he totally denied that jesus only says love twice in the book of Mark.I told him to check it out and I could tell he was a little unsettled by it and then spun it in a way that his small minded brain could deal with it.No shocker really but it was fun to see his hardened beliefs kind of crumble for a minute.
