I'm glad he'll be off the books. I know the stors pick up 11 of his 23 million salary... but its time to rebuild. hopefully they can trade berkman as well.

We are going to the world series for the third time in a row so that is exciting.Bats finally coming alive, Werth has played so poorly we might be able to afford him and if not his replacement(dominic brown) was brought up from triple a and went 2-3 in his first game.Utley will be back by the playoffs.Howard is a stud.Oswalt will be a nice addition and fit well in between Hamels and Halliday.Rollins is banged up still but seems to be over the major hump and has started to swing the bat well.The national league is weak.The phil's have a pedigree.
I'm about to cash in on a bet from Hamels rookie year where it was my $500 to my friends $50 that Hamels doesnt win a Cy Young in 5 years.Thats called vision, friends.

The Atlanta Braves made a five-player deal Saturday to upgrade their outfield and an already formidable bullpen, acquiring Rick Ankiel and right-hander Kyle Farnsworth from Kansas City for three players.

Are you fucking kidding me?Oswalt was the best move they could have made.We(thats right, we) didnt need too many pieces since they are already stacked if you've been paying attention the last oh four to five years.Is Rick Ankiel pitching or playing the outfield.Neither option impresses me.You guys are tanking.Bobby cox is the most overrated manager of the last 20 years.

I can't go there about Cox. Dude has only one WS to his credit.. but was the division winner forever.

I'm glad oswalt and berkman are gone. Too bad their isn't a market for Lee.
