...to do an experiment.
I will be giving up marijuana for the next 3 months. I have never stopped smoking since I was 15 or 16 years old. I was wondering what it would be like without it last night, so now I'm going to give it a shot. I'm wondering if I'll be more angry than I already am? Anyroo...tonight, I'm getting drunk and going to bet on dogs.

So, do you think you can do it. I used to smoke and enjoyed it but I haven't had any in a couple of years... A friend of mine has a dad who still smokes and he is really burnt.
Kinda helped me quit

I bet you won't last. I just went a week without any and it sucked.
I know I could quit if I wanted to, I just don't want to right now. I quit when I got pregnant, and didn't start back until recently.

I know I won't last either, that's why I'm gonna try to make it for 3 months. I've never experienced getting high after a long break from the stuff. I can't remember the first time I got stoned...that's how long its been.

Funny story.. went to see a friend of mine in No. Cal. He and I used to smoke regularly when he lived in town (he is orginally from New Orleans). This was two years ago in October. The second night there his friend Paul comes over with some super primo shit that only Cali produces. Keep in mind that I was starting my "quitting" process because we were planning on children in the next year so I may had smoked 2 or 3 times over the last 8 weeks. Well Paul comes in and packs this bong and we start smoking... After the first bowl I felt different than I ever had before. I would almost say that I felt like I was outta my body..... So 30 minutes or so go by and he packs another bowl. Well, this one sends me over the top. For some reason I start shakin like a leaf. Almost like I am cold but I wasn't. I couldn't handle it... I couldn't comprehend what they were talking about... I couldn't play PS2 with them... it was only like midnight/1 am. I got up and said I am going to bed... My buddy was like "dude you are only here for a couple of days... hang out for a while and enjoy your time here." I told him I was too tired.
I ended up going to bed (wife was sound asleep) and laying there for about 2 hours shaking like I was having a seizure. I heard Paul leave and I heard my buddy goto sleep..... That was the second to last time I ever smoked.....
Since that time Paul has broken two of our other buddies.. both from New Orleans.

When I was in high School, many years ago, an ounce of pot was $10 dollars. Since no one had a set of scales, they measured them in "fingers". A two finger bag or three finger bag. Anway, that was $10.
So, I am assuming that you are saying that would now cost $45 to $50. I just can't imagine it lasting for nearly a month if you smoke as much as you say.
I smoked from 15 years old until I was 30. If it's happens with you like it did for me then you will soon find yourself with more energy and motivation. You will feel better in the mornings as well. that was how it worked out for me anyways. I suppose one thing about it is, if you go without it for a period of time then smoke just a little bit after say about a month or so, you will be higher than a kite like you were 15 again.

an ounce for myself can last a month easy. no seeds and stems usually

did you have problems with being depressed? my GF kinda worries I may go through a phase...
