Second starts in April .. but it seems to have showed up early..

a big one ripped through the subdivision i grew up in in 92.. it was all over CNN (yes, i was on CNN getting interviewed..no, didnt say it sounded like a train.. altho it did..i talked about how the neighborhood was pulling together to help the families of those that died..)

sucks ass waking up in the morning and looking out the window.. and seeing a hearse outside your house..

about 6 months ago, i was on my way to baton rouge, and had to pull over under a bridge because i couldnt see to drive.. sirens were going off.. i was shaking and crying my ass off i was so scared..called work yelling at my boss for sending me down there and told him to get his fat ass on the internet and let me know what was going on..

he said.."nothing to worry about.. everything is just deep orange in that area.. not quite red.."

we had a lot of fun with Charley, Frances, Ivan, etc...

One of them was supposed to come so far inland that it was supposed to realllly hit Jackson.. so some friends of mine went to Left Field Sports Bar (a bar at our farm league baseball stadium...) and took golf clubs and golf balls to play "golf" with the hurricane.. (see how far they could hit it before the wind sent that shit right back to em and hit em in the eye with it...)

Its very rare that tornadoes touch down.. normally, if they do, its out in the country.. so maybe some trees get taken out.. but WHEN they do hit, its bad..

I've been through one hurricane, but I slept. I was 5. When I woke up the tree in our front yard was gone and some other shit was tossed all over. It wasn't a bad just bad enough to be a major pain for the island

Did you grow up in a trailer? The only areas I see on the news that they go through are trailer parks.
