Update: A report has surfaced that the Eagles are in negotiations with the Raiders on a trade that would send Owens to Oakland for Jerry Porter, according to ABC sports.
Recommendation: Randy Moss told reporters Wednesday he could co-exist with Owens as long as he receives the number of passes he deserves. We doubt that the two receivers would get along in Oakland but the Eagles appear to be so upset with Owens that they would be willing to put the best two receivers in the league on the same team. This would initially cloud the value of both players but stay tuned for more rumors.

The Raiders' busy offseason may not be over yet. Philadelphia television station WPVI is reporting that there is a trade in the works that would send disgruntled wideout Terrell Owens, who had 1,200 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Eagles last season, to Oakland in exchange for Jerry Porter and possibly a draft pick. Porter caught 64 balls for 998 yards and nine touchdowns in 2004.

While this deal may look lopsided at first glance, it is important to remember that Porter is five years younger than Owens and hasn't been a major pain in butt this entire offseason. The Eagles are not an organization that tolerates a lot of insubordination from its players, so the prospect of getting a young, talented receiver and a high draft pick might be enough to convince them to ship Owens to California. This trade is nothing more than a rumor right now, but we'll will keep you updated of any developments and provide in-depth fantasy analysis if the deal actually goes through.

his agent said there was absolutely no truth to the TO to the raiders rumor
the eagles have not given permission to seek a trade at this time
he said terrell is ready to play for a contender, but without opermission from the eagles, they may not seek a trade

Update: A high-ranking Eagles official dismissed broadcast rumors which reported that the Eagles and Raiders were discussing a trade that would send Owens to Oakland for wide receiver Jerry Porter, phillyBurbs.com reports.
Recommendation: "It won't happen," he said. Despite this denial, don't expect the rumors regarding the disgruntled wideout to disappear. Owens, who has six years left on his seven-year contract, wants a raise but the Eagles have been firm in their refusal to rework his contract. Owens' agent has said his client may not report to training camp without a new deal.
