Anybody can catch fish in a pond or creek or stream. The chesapeake bay is a different story.

I work with a guy who's not much of a boatsman. Dude dropped $30K+ on a boat a couple years back at the BoatShow. That summer he lost a lower unit to the rocks. The next year he had him motor down while backing down the ramp to launch it. He drove off the passenger side trailer wheel off side of the concrete slab. The bottom of the motor hooked on the slab and busted off the back of his boat where the motor mounts.

Everytime I go fishing I don't use a fish finder. Mostly you have to watch running on ground if the river is low.. but other than that you can pick and choose your spots as to where to catch.

That shit's funny. But that's the shit I'm trying to avoid. There are outcropings of rock in the water around here. But that dood doesn't need to be owning a boat.

I replaced the prop last year with a stainless (muchas $$$) In hind sight I should have just bought 3 composit props. My boat's nothing special, but I do enjoy it and I'm not into dropping thousands of dollars to repair a boat that I spent 1500 on.....As for the VHF radio, the us coast guard says I have to have one before I can put into the bay.

This year is no good for me. All my vaction time is spoken for. Would I have to share a room with anybody? This could make or break the deal for me.
