to combat rising gas prices or am I the only one poor enough to worry about it?

I'm starting week 2 of eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch.

I think you are probably kidding, but unless you own an older car or are increasing the internal temperature of the cabin, it really is not necessary to warm up the motor of car nowadays.

I know what you're thinking now. You think we're all gay, don't you? Think we're all just a bunch of deviant lifestyle-living same-sex having motherfuckers, am I right?

Warming up in the summer = turning AC on.

I really think this is an issue, much like the corruption in government that seems to be so prevelent, that crosses party lines. I too am concerned about it, along with global warming, even though I think there is litte we can do to control most of the warming, as I believe it to be more due to nature than man.

I think a majority of republicans don't care about the enviroment.Gas prices is the only thing getting the gop to take a look at alternative fuel.Backing out of Kyoto was a disaster and that was definitly split down party lines. You are crazy not to think man is the cause of most of the global warming we see.You can't fill an atmospere with 30 to 40 times the amount of gases its designed to take and expect it to act normally with no consequences.Bush fired and silenced his own scientific advisors for saying the same.

not that my opinion matters (read respected) but I kinda feel both ways. I do think planet earth goes through a natural heating and cooling process, but I think that we as ff burning fiends have sped up the process to a break kneck pace. What used to take thousands of years is no going to take a couple hundred.
