So I am trying to make a yearly trek to Detroit for the Packers vs. Lions game. I'm a Lions fan, and the two friends I made the trip with last year are Packers fans. We came up with a wager last year where the losing team's fan had to purchase the winning team's hat and wear it everywhere for a month. I won the opening day bet, but lost the rematch. Timmy rocked that Lions hat like a champ for 31 days (mostly because he's bald as fuck and doesn't go anywhere without a hat), but I don't wear them much and I basically pussed out after two weeks. I just couldn't remember to take it with me everywhere since it's not part of my daily ensemble.

Anyway, I was thinking of the following bet for this year's game(s), and want to know if it sounds like a good idea:


If the Lions win, he has to grow out his hair for two months or wear a toupee that I choose as long as it's not too crazy. The wicked horseshoe would look pretty fucking stupid, but so would a rug. I don't really care one way or the other which one he chooses.

If I lose, I will have to shave the top of my head and rock the horseshoe look until it grows back, which will probably take around two months. Not sure if a Bic will need to be used, but whatever. If I'm going to look like a fucking idiot for a long time I may as well go all out, right? I have the choice of doing that or wearing a toupee also.



My questions to you:

1. Does this bet suck ass?
2. Should we come up with something else?
3. Does it sound fair for both parties involved?
4. If we should come up with different terms, do you have any suggestions?

Sounds like a good bet. You need to do it. And don't be afraid to pick out a ridiculous rug to make him wear. Maybe even one that blows up in the front if the wind blows. You are going to loook much stupider, so don't be afraid to make him look stupid either.

I know I could handle it because most people that know me wouldn't think it is that out of the ordinary; just another stupid stunt Tom pulled. I just don't know if Timmy would follow through. He could always refer to last year's bet and how I basically pussed out, you know? Also, he really hates the fact that he is bald and would probably still wear a hat everywhere. Does he have the right to do so since I didn't complete last year's bet? I told him I would make it up to him in a way that didn't involve me trying to remember to wear a hat every day (borrowing a Packers cheerleader costume and wearing it to the bar was my first suggestion), but he hasn't come up with any alternative yet.

Well, he does owe you one for pussing out last year. At the least you can make him meet you for drinks a few times, take him somewhere nice to eat and make him wear the shitty toup. I think the idea is hilarious.

I am not a fan of the head shaving either. Our bets are usually more monetarily painful.

Loser buys the Jersey of the winners choice (no cap, but reasonability must be assumed or set a $200 cap), and has to wear it for the week after the game. Then said jersey must be given to the winner in like new condition (so you don't stain it).

I have had to buy waaaay too many Charger Jersies the last few years.
