Only on IT, when I use firefox, if I hit an apostrophe, then it kicks me down to a lower tool bar that is some kind of search feature.
Like, if I type, "I know you (apostrophe) ll go far"......... as soon as I hit the apostrophe, I am in a search box at the bottom of Firefox.

Ctrl+f does the same thing. Shouldn't happen when you're typing in the text reply box, but will when you click anywhere else on the page and then hit " ' " it will.
Useful fuckin' tool that one is.

Firefox updated. Log-off, close your browser and try again. Or restart. Somehow firefox isn't reading the VBulletin code correctly with respect to text boxes.

That problem has happened randomly to me, too. I close FF and start it up again and it's usually gone. I hate it and curse it to hell.

I use the LATEST updated FF with THE LATES updated Java console ...
NO PROBLEM.
Buy a new computer or start stamp collecting.
Why do I keep this cesspool alive?
naaa appens sometimes when FF goes nuts he starts doing a plain text search instead of letting you type.
1. be sure that you have correctly clicked in the text box !
2. quit firefox (kill process if you want to be sure)
3. uncheck the "begin finding text as you type" in tools/options/advanced
