new breakfast of champions??

"UNIQUE BREW CREATES BUZZ FOR TERRAPIN BEER CO. AND JITTERY JOE’S COFFEE PARTNERSHIP”
12/01/05 - JitteryJoe's to release Terrapin Wake-n-Bake coffee.

Athens, GA December 2005 -- Two Athens based enterprises, Terrapin Beer Co. & Jittery Joe's Coffee, have teamed up on a new Terrapin beer, the Wake-n-Bake Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout. With this creative co-branding partnership, Terrapin and Jittery Joe's are creating a better brew and reaching a larger market base within the "craft beverage" segment. The Wake-n-Bake Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout is the "Winter Release" on the 2006 Terrapin Monster Beer Tour, a limited release series of high gravity beers. Working together to develop the exact coffee profile to enhance the complexity of the 8.1% abv. Imperial Stout, Terrapin & Jittery Joe's blended premium coffees from Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Zimbabwe to create the Terrapin Wake-n-Bake Coffee Blend. “Being able to combine the two art forms of beer brewing and coffee roasting, we are able to achieve a third dimension within our Imperial Stout,” say’s Brian “Spike” Buckowski, Brewmaster for Terrapin Beer Co. Terrapin's Wake-n-Bake Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout will be available throughout GA in kegs and, for the first time, in 4 packs of 12 oz. bottles. In addition the Terrapin Wake-n-Bake Coffee Blend will be available for purchase in a 12 oz. coffee can at all Jittery Joe's locations, select package stores, and at http://www.terrapinbeer.com. The partnership is cutting edge for both the beer and coffee industries. John Cochran, president of Terrapin Beer Co., states, "With the growth of the craft beer market over the last couple of years, teaming up with a coffee company is truly raising the bar for the rest of the beer industry. We’re creating a better product by custom blending the coffee specifically for the beer and opening a totally separate and unique marketing channel." Both Terrapin and Jittery Joe's have a huge fan base within each respective industry. “By joining together we maximize brand exposure through sharing fans, and gain sales in a non-traditional way” adds Keith Kortemeier, founder of Jittery Joe’s Coffee.

I realise that I have a past to break with--an accumulation of inertia, wrong, foolishness, rot, junk.  A great need of clarification, of mindfulness, or rather, of no mind.  A need to return to genuine practice, right effort.  Need to push on the great doubt.  Need for the spirit.  Hang on to the clear light.
