explanation:
currently PP is averaging 38 mins, ray allen 39 mins, and KG 36 mins. My feeling is that with their age they should be closer to 32 mins per game to keep them fresh late into the season.

A look at some other team reveals the trend. The spurs stars average 7 mins less a game. Manu is avg 29 mins, parker 33 mins and duncan 32 mins. The pistons are averaging less too. Rip is avg 34 mins, billiups 32 mins and sheed is avging 30 mins. Even the suns are on target. amare is avging 30 mins, barbosa 30 mins and nash 32 mins.

It's time to call the dogs off. No need to only lose 20 games in a season if your big dogs can't run the floor in the playoffs.

It is not copied and pasted from anywhere. I was reviewing how much the big three is playing per game.. even when they are up big.

Thats what I mean.Whoever wrote 8's analysis is right.You can't beat up your starters all year and not have a good bench to rely on on nights they're tired.This is where having Doc rivers as your coach will probably hurt you.I assume after the allstar break they will rest them and try to cruise into the playoffs but to really be good one of those bench guys needs to blossom into a dangerous player.

I'm less worried about Paul and Ray tiring out than I am about KG. Posey, House, and Tony Allen can put enough valuable minutes together to give those guys a decent break, but they're weak up front. Big Baby, Pollard, and fucking Scal aren't going to get it done...though Baby is pretty intriguing.

I did make a mental note earlier in the week to watch this game and will be rooting for the Pistons which is odd for me.Its not like this game will determine anything but it will be interesting to see how serious the players take it and how intense the rivalry will become.How they match up with each other will be another thing I'll be looking for.I bet they play KG straight up.

No killer instinct on the Celts at all.Allen and Pierce might not shy away from taking the last shot but they won't demand it.KG is a great player but when crunch time hits he defers to others.So you've got 3 good players on the Celtics who want to rely on others in the big spot and a weak bench.You can win a lot of regular season games with that team but tell me how are they going to win anything of consequence?All the pistons need to do is not turn the ball over, get rebounds and put a hand in the face of the shooter and they'll hang around like they did last night and when it tightens up in the 4th they have the advantage.
