I'm "working from home" today, so I'll be free to amuse you all with my comedic stylings.

Or, I just be the brunt of the short, grey-haired, snarg jr jokes.

Lets go with the latter.

Is brady just faking his injury to sit out the preseason or is his foot really hurt?

I wish he had played at least a quarter. Makes me think he's a little banged up but probably nothing serious. Considering the first 5 weeks of their schedule, he'll have plenty of time to ease back into things:

week 1 - KC
week 2 - @NYJ
week 3 - Miami
week 4 - bye
week 5 - @SF

could be a let down year distractions?

Tom Brady Spends Big Bucks On Land In Calif.
BOSTON (CBS) ― New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has just bought a plot of land in California for $11 million, TMZ reports.

The entertainment news site said Brady's newly purchased land is in Brentwood, California on Arnold Schwarzenegger's street.

It is reported that Brady took a mortgage out for $8.225 million and will pay it back in five years, according to TMZ. He allegedly purchased the land under the name "TGBE."

A source close to Brady told TMZ the star quarterback bought the land so he could be closer to his son, but a source close to the child's mother, Bridget Moynahan said that is not true

I defintly see a let down year coming on.

I thought the teams with the best record the previous year get the harder schedule the next year. Those first 5 are a joke.

He's from california right, thats no big deal.

They'll go 12-4 with their eyes closed...they have the easiest schedule in the league, no idea why...only play 5 teams that had winning records last year.

Their defense is looking really weak, but Belichick has 6 weeks to get them ready for San Diego. I think they'll win a lot of shootouts this year, if the defense can come together by the end of the season they'll win it all.

I think they might do better than 12-4 now that I think about it.Who is really the powerhouse in the NFL besides them this year?In the AFC manning is hurt and harrison is probably going to jail. The chargers are a weird team with LT and Rivers not liking each other and Merriman not being 100%.You can't really believe that the Giants will repeat and the Cowboys havent won a post season game in a decade.I can't believe sports illustrated picked the Eagles to win the superbowl, makes no sense.

I'm picking a Cowboys\Patriots superbowl with the Pats winning it.

yeah I'm sure he's really stressing about whether or not he can afford granite countertops or that third garage bay.

I don't know what to say.

12-4 I think is the absolute worst they would do, my pick is 14-2, and I agree with your superbowl pick.
