Recently, Canada had a nationwide listeria outbreak. Listeria is a deadly bacteria that can be found in deli/processed meats. Maple Leaf Foods, the country's largest deli supply chain, was responspible and closed their doors for three weeks, I think (to clean and disinfect thier machinery).
Anyways, I believe a total of 14 people died from complications related to listeria.
One of bonehead MP's made this comment about the listeria crisis (during election time, no less): "It's like death by 1000 cold cuts."
I think it was wildly inappropriate, but I can't help but laugh. It was fucking funny.

I was watching the Tampa game with the kicker whose babies funeral was the day before and my friend said "Your baby will hate you if you miss this" before his game winning kick.It was terrible but really unexpected from my friend so I laughed.

I was reminded of one while talking to a coworker.Early in my illustrious career I had to go to a hospital because something I sold them wasnt working properly.So its me and my coworker in a intensive care unit somewhere in Jersey.We are alone in this patients room looking at my stuff and the person in the bed is unconscious but moaning softly.We're there for about 15 minutes by ourself trying to figure out a problem and all the sudden the moaning gets louder.My coworker is closer to the bed then I and all the sudden the old lady wakes up suddenly and reaches out for my guy and screams mommy while looking at him.I felt couldnt help it but I laughed quietly and felt terrible about it.

anywho, i got the clincher here:
my mom was having such a good time at my wife's funeral that i had to have a quiet talk with her to get her to chill out a bit
she was acting like she was at a superbowl party

Was she rolling on the floor laughing? I don't understand the context (s'up Sassy?). Like, she was drunk and partying? That happens at all my family funerals,

i have a lot of fun at funerals visiting with lots of relatives i haven't seen for a while
this was a funeral for a 29 yr old woman with a 3 yr old child
my mom does not drink
she was acting like she was at a cocktail party to celebrate some sort of victorious moment
i suggested she tone it down a bit
the family of the deceased were clearly uncomfortable with her behavior
since i knew her better, it was not so unusual, but it was incredibly inappropriate
psychotic people often exhibit inappropriate behavior, so no surprise
fortunately, she heeded my advice
