Meh. You said Dashchle's were simple "math mistakes". I have a hard time figuring out how failing to report income from speaking fees is a "math mistake". Let's call a spade a spade (no pun intended).

Some of the issues (not Daschle) are simple accounting errors that arent a big deal.

I think Howard Dean will take Daschles place if he gets kicked out which from what I read the republicans would hate so I can see them compromising and letting Daschle slide.

These issues are nothing like the previous administrations issues.

I don't like that his wife works with corporations that can benefit from his connections.Something is fishy about that but I don't think it disqualifies him.


I hate every time Obama does something unexpected or doesnt radically change something people shout "This isnt Change" its the battle cry for people set against him from the outset.He never promised to change everything in washington except the culture which I think he definitly has.Its not possible to change everything anyway without serious gridlock.

I disagree that putting a tax evader in charge of health care is a good idea, regardless of his credentials. A thieving mentality doesn't isolate itself to one thing and then never do it again. Its a characteristic that boils over into all decisions and thoughts.

An accountant prepared his taxes no? He is liable for the amount due but the CPA never told him he owed anything and clearly the IRS didn't either. He submitted an amended return and paid the amount in full (when the discrepancy was revealed).

You'd lose. If any of the guys that work for me, are in fact using forged documents that prove they are here legally, then they are still having their taxes paid by me. I don't have anyone under employment that isn't carried on the open payroll books.

I sort of hate the whole "nanny tax" issue. Who in the world holds taxes from a nanny? or a yard guy or any of those kind of domestic jobs. Its like asking the kids with a kool aide stand to charge sales tax and report their income on some tax form. I'm not saying its not illegal, i'm just saying that to me it ranks up there right behind jaywalking or not coming to a full stop at a stop sign.
