Reading the Be Safe While Pumping sign on the gas pump this morning. I thought the title sounded dirty so I started reading the rest of it to see if I could make it funny with a couple strokes of the pen. It was about the risk of explosions caused by static electricity.
Plus some stats on how many people have been killed/injured.
So now I'm kinda sucked in to the content and start wondering what would I do if it happened right now. I'm wearing a staticy wool sweater, 2.0 is sleeping in the car. How would I get him to safety. Then the pump kicks off because the tank is full. Scared the fukk outta me.
- Please touch a metal surface on the car with a bare hand to discharge.
- Do not re enter your vehicle whilst pumping.
