Any thoughts?
#1

I'm currently in a 16 man fantasy football league and we are going to draft here in the next few weeks. First two picks will be live and then it will be autopick afterwards. The draft is set in a snake motion so last pock in the first round gets first pick in the second. I'm sitting at pick fourteen and my estimate is about at three to four wastes picks. I was thinkin of snagging a the top receiver available with?the first and probabpy jason witten with the second if he is still out there. Thoughts?

Jason Whitten?I don't get that.

I was talking to a guy I would consider knowledgeable about FF and he was telling me how he won't be picking a QB until at least the 13th rd.His logic is he can always pick up a serviceable one at that point or in the first few weeks of the waiver wire.

It's tough living with a dogshit QB for the season.

I'm thinking of waiting until rd 8 or 9 to take a QB.

Is it worth the risk of taking a Tom Brady who might get hurt in the first few picks when you can get a guy who will put up decent numbers in the middle round?

Mu thought are if I dont get a decent TE I will be stuck with a scrub TE by the 4 to 5 round because of the size of the league. I may possibly scrap Witten and try to go for John Carlson in the 4 round. I agree with Bird though I'm not touching QB's until late

there aren't going to be any decent RBs left by the time your 3rd and 4th picks come around.

I think I can make out with a touchdown hawk like McLain in the third. Besides looking at the points I think I good WR is more valuable then a RB in this league

Yeah points per reception and fractional points at ten yards per point. TD's are six. Same as rushing ten per point and six per td but there is a negative five per fumble.

I withdraw my advice.I didnt know I was talking to a guy playing in a queer league that does Pts per receptions.

I'm against the scoring in this league. Luckily I got points per pass completion out of the picture. Last year brees and warner averaged 50 points a week complete bs. I was pissed because I got beat in the playoffs by brees and andre johnson racking in a combined 100 points because of it.
