And it was light out. Around 7:45 am. I love it when the days start getting longer. Winter is crap here in the north. Dark when I go to work and dark when I get home. Serious cabin fever when it's too dark/cold to take the kid outside when I get home.

We are awake off and on through the night. Bed at 11 and up by 8 actually only equals about 5 hours sleep. Getting better though.

Sounds like my life, except my guy seems to think it's hilarious to get up at 4:30am. I can't force myself to bed any earlier then 10. Sucks.

I have insomnia like a son of a bitch. I usually don't fall asleep until around 2 or 3am and I'm back up at 5:30am. Even prescription sleep aids don't help.

Yeah our son did not bad last night. He was in bed by 7, screaming bloody murder by 7:30. Put back to sleep by me, up again briefly sometime after 8 and the slept until 5ish. Banana fed and gave new diaper then was screaming shortly after. Given hugs by me and I got punched in the face for my effort. Kid thinks this is hilarious. I put him back in his crib and turned on the aquarium and he went back to sleep til nearly 8.
Success?

I try to get my guy down between 6:30-7 and he's up at 4:30. Keeping him up later doesn't help, he's got this little internal alarm clock that goes off at 4:30 no matter how much sleep he's had. FML.
He's 6 and a half months. And he doesn't always sleep until 5. Sometimes, it's 2:30. Other times, it's 2:30, 4:00, 5:30 and 7:00. You get the idea. He's a pretty awful sleeper. Our daughter slept from 8 til 8 since she was about 5 months old.

I try to make the ratio of me getting up with the kid to Jimmy getting up 2:1. Sometimes, he just wakes up first and tends to the baby. he's a great dad.

I pin his arm down so he can't do that. It's called "restrictive therapy"
