You didn't answer my question.

The other day my buddy/business partner calls me up and asks me to go hang out/pick up women for him. My friend is a 3rd generation Indian (dot head), 37 years old chiropractor. He's pretty dark on account of having some ancestory from Trinidad. He calls everyone nigga. It's nigga this and nigga that but anyway... So we're just standing on the boardwalk havign coffee and he's going on a nigga tirade when some late 20s blackey standing maybe 6 feet away from us gets upset and starts walking towards us with the general thug attitude yelling "fuck you say?" etc etc

So this blackey is around 5'9 when my buddy is 6'3 and probably has darker skin than the actual negro but doesn't have pubic hair on his head so it is obvious he is not a black african. So I have no idea what this guy is thinking, he must have channeled his great great grandmamas slave beatings or something but he looked more red than black. Anyway, my friend is a pacifist and wants no part of any physical altercation. At this point the blackey was going to calm down, when I made it a point to call him a NiggER. At first he looked like he was going to fight us both to defend his honor, but thought better of it when my friends 2 other friends came. They were white. He called us white boy crackas and left. We were not upset.

So why would chocolate face be upset about about being called a nigger? This is what he is.

When a party wishes to offend another party via an insult, it is usually done by riidculing one's character or appearance. Hence, there is little difference between calling him a nigger or telling him that he emits a foul odor. The only differene being is that the latter is up for discussion.

In any case, Bird, you being one with the 'brothas' can you explain to me why you they're upset about being called niggers?
