ok tom gave you some insightful reccomendations but from a total outsider view :

- shedd aquarium. agrees I must to see, really cool with lots of err aquariums and err...well it's nice indeed.
- boat tour, well if you are interested by architecture why not, anyhow interesting because they explain you some anecdotes on the city (it still not believe the shit about the overflowing old mining galeries and shit)
- the industry museum. ok no. the only two cool things I saw where the toy producing machine and the kinda toy trains running around some representation of the region. Anyhow for the price it's a ripoff. good if you go with kids otherwise you can just forget it. the visit of the u-boat (german submarine WWII) is cool. if you go there go for the u-boat and the imax theater, you can easily forget the rest it's not worthy.
- the navy pier : well basically it's a pier with some boats on it and a ferry weel. mmh. coolness factor is not huge but during the week you won't meet anyone there so maybe a good palce if you plan some drug drop down (well that is an EXAMPLE).
- Going up the sears towers and shit like that. well I don't have huge scrycapers like that were I come (best is 20 floors you see) so it's impressive and funny but coolness factor is low as well.

Now there's some interesting night life but I don't remember where it was, there's one spot near downtown and the john hancock building otherwise one further but with a lot of bars and shit.

And btw chicks are cool so you won't be alone long time I tell you.

Otherwise there's shopping always nice shopping.

mmh. and some ppl know a good address for a titty bar but I'm not sure if you could get a "cold cookie" there still useful to yell outside : OK I WANT TO FUCK A CHI' (in a very pleasant and clean atmosphere) WHERE DO I GO ?
