I never defended Bush or his policies. You projected that on to me, which is a typical liberal tactic. And I'm calling pot on the know it all bullshit. You're proving my point yet again.

So what party are you?How can generalize millions of people in a neat little quote like that? Its bullshit but my guess is you never take a stand and always switch sides at just the right time.

Are you attacking me or defending Obama? Or do you even remember anymore?

Just in case you missed it.

the republican party itself (or its prominent members) has been pretty uninspiring to a huge portion of republicans

It was only noticed when you were going to lose an election. You all cheered 8 years of disastrous policy and called anyone who differed unamerican.I'm generalizing too but ALL you fucks were pumping your fists eating freedom fries.

I guarantee you won't have the balls to come up with a defense of your parties policies.
In case you you missed it.

so just because republican party leaders have made mistakes we're all supposed to become democrats and support liberal ideals?
just because republican party leaders have made mistakes we're forbidden from pointing out democrat mistakes or disagreeing with their views?

When IBHUNG dropped his two cents I thought to myself, I don't remember much about him but I recall him being a pussy.I apologize for being so quick to judge as he's really proved me wrong.

I'm pretty sure he was pretty general about the whole topic during his campaign because its a pretty broad problem that needs study and can't be fixed by flipping a switch. He does have the people and the plans.I'm sorry he didnt personally have them say hello to you and show you what they are working on.
Are you seriously trying to say he's the reason the markets down?Ok say he does nothing with the banks just to keep you happy and the stock market up for a little while longer. What happens when those banks close their doors forever because of the fucked up way they do business and you've got 1000's of defaulted mortgages and people living in the streets?Where does the market head at that point you fucking idiot?
So no hard decisions that effect the market need to be made right now?Is that what you are telling me?I'm sorry did he create this problem?Do you have a sunshine and rainbows plan in your back pocket that will fix everything and raise the market at the same time?Pull your head out of your ass.
Did I watch it? Yes....But the bolded part had nothing to do with last nite. Someone needs to extract their head from their ass, but it's not me. Last nite was a Presidential address, not a "press conference"....Keep it up you fucking dork.
As for the market. -0-Confidence in his plans affect the market. So is it tiesd to him? Yep, does that mean he can't change it? No. He's just created more work by indebting us even more. The majority of citizens were opposed to the bail out, especially when they realized it hadn't been read.

Whats your plan for millions of out of work people if we didnt do the bailouts?

Well, I think that I have figured out Obama's grand plan.
He got elected by promising all sorts of ridicululously expensive programs and solutions to get all the poor people to finally get out and vote so they could have free health care and the like. But he knew there was no way to pay for it.
But, he also knew that if the country saw that a democrat was about to be elected, that wallstreet would shit and fall apart before our eyes. So that's what started happening in the fall. The house of cards began to fall apart when people realized that this little muslim black boy was about to pull it off. They all cut and ran.
So, now he can promise billions and billions and even trillions of dollars to help the economy and get these stupid programs going to he promised. He looks at it like its a win-win. Which we all know doesn't exist. He has basically convinced us that because of the problems that he "inherited" that he gets a blank check book for the next year or two.
